Our e-learning course enables you to comply with the Chapter 1.3 awareness training requirements of the IMDG Code, for the shipment of dangerous goods by sea.
Training for those who prepare, pack, document and offer dangerous goods for transportation by sea, is a mandatory requirement of the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code.
This e-learning course is aimed at those preparing and offering dangerous goods for transport and will provide you with a general overview of the IMDG Code, updated to the latest amendment, 41-22, which is mandatory from the 1st of January 2024 (may be applied voluntarily during 2023).
Our course will teach you an awareness of how to classify, pack, load and prepare dangerous goods for transport and complete the required documentation.
In addition this training covers the main multimodal implications of ADR (European road regulations) and 49 CFR (USA 'HazMat' regulations) that shippers need to be aware of.
